Rominimal :grinning: :grinning:

Just googled it there. Seriously never came across that term before.I’ve clearly been living under a stone the last number of Years.

Onwards and upwards I suppose

Alice Phoebe Lou from STH Africa - new album is called Glow. Lovely stuff.

Rose In The Dark was album of the year for me too - simply stunning.

To be fair I don’t think those who actually make the music call it that but I have noticed it as a genre on bandcamp etc. When will it end. It’s all just EDM at the end of the day haha

You’ll only lose the brownie points if you share house on here, you still get props for recommending new music. You’re hired as the thread’s “Man in Romania”. It’s an unpaid internship and the hours are long, but go for it :slightly_smiling_face:

Haha if the hours are as long as some of the records then I am doomed.

Thanks for the tip, I’d not heard of this group before I love it!

Dunno where the music will be at but people will be dancing on the beaches of ibiza with masks on…Book that holiday, as for clockwork ibiza looking at past videos masks should and always be essential…

Enjoying this one a lot. From the people who brought me to Kate Bollinger…

Some nice jangly genre bending blue eyed soulful poppy something or other  I like it :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s been a while since I’ve recommended a “dance” LP but I keep coming back to the new 96 Back LP for Local Action since its release. It aims for the head as well as the hips with a mixture of big room pleasers, after club mind melters & generally unhinged, electrohazed psychedelic vibes.

Yeah. Jangly chorusy guitars go a long way in lightening the mood…

Only the best song i ve heard this year and i doubt so much will come close at the end of the year. Former of member of cult indiepoppers Dolly Mixture Rachel Love delivers a helluva song that sounds like a lost 80s pop classic. Think Virginia Astley, think Broadcast, think Strawberry Switchblade. The video doesn t enfold i see ,what do i do wrong ?

Been absolutely loving a new Irish band called Newdad. 6 music played a few of their tracks quite a bit last year and they’ve just released their first EP which I’ve been hammering the past week or so. Probably not to everyone’s taste (or anyone’s) ha, but I like them. Here’s one of the tracks
