Sometimes you’ve just got to engage mental cruise control & float through life in which case hitting play on the anxiolytic new age of New Age ambient electronic joys of the new @suryummy LP will have the desired serotonin reuptake inhibititing effect.
Check Jonathan Kirby’s minimal gem as he loops succinct & sweet motifs around old synth drum presets & throws in a few bird sounds for good measure. A refreshingly sparse lo-fi meditation on how less is more & how that simple idea can save the world.
Ambient textures abound on the new @TangentsMusic
LP for @TempResLtd but the tempos fluctuate wildly from a hip hop crawl to all sorts of mutated, futuristic liquid drum and bass constructs.

I’m usually struggling a bit for new releases in August but so far so good, there’s some great stuff dropping:
Starting out as a mover of bodies and melter of sub-woofers @robotkoch has been slowly mellowing but has now gone full circle & started massaging minds instead with his his new @ADrumcircle pseudonym exploring altogether more sedate electronic arts.
Musing deeper than most on the human condition & cosmic connectivity Cots delivers her thoughts in intimate, engaging fashion on a bed of lethargic bossa, hushed cocktail lounge jazz & folk threaded with a rare attention to sonic detail for @boiledrecords
One for fans of John Martyn and Mark Hollis:
Confessional cosmic folk reclines on synthesized ambient soundscapes in this sparse yet succinct, softly sung, subtly psychedelic, quite delightful debut LP from @_chorusing for @westernvinyl.

Apeing Golden Age sounds without social context rarely ends well for modern artists. Trust me though, Puerto Rico’s [@therealpachyman](https://twitter.com /therealpachyman) is the real dub deal & his new good natured LP for @ATORecords is hitting the summer sweet spot.

Summer has arrived, & so it ends. The 4th installment of Jusell, Prymek, Sage & Shiroishi’s stunning cross pollination of jazz, neoclassical, folk & ambient to soundtrack the seasons & mark the passing of time has just fallen to earth like a ripe peach.
