Where's Music At?

This is the sort of house I would happily dance away all night to. Hence why I am quite often on the dancefloor on my own ha

I’m with you there, slower grooves sort the dancers out from the club chatters :slightly_smiling_face:

Good choice :slightly_smiling_face:

Entrancing, evocative slow dance minimalism of the sultriest kind from Australia’s DJ Plead
via @boomkatonline as he fuses the sounds of the Orient with vintage Jamaican dancehall riddims for all the late night shakers who want some tantric bump & grind.

Cancel your Friday appointments, pull a chair to the @ ROHS! table & let the ambient smells from David Cordero & Combray’s Andalusian creative kitchen waft around your senses, chill you like a gazpacho & part the clouds to reveal life’s blue sky.

Solo percussion LPs are rare but when done right can be a thing of joy & Simon Popp has done it very right, with his deeply hypnotic rhythmic constructs spanning the brooding & propulsive to more meditative mantras on this stunning percussive ear opener.

I skipped it last week, it sounded great. It’s in the “to listen to” Spotify pile!

Have seen her play live 3 times now, so good, amazing voice and a great guitarist. Also saw her do a pre gig thing for her first album and had a chat after, she’s a lovely person. Looking forward to some new stuff soon hopefully.

Loving that Julia jacklin at the moment. Thanks a again TPF :green_heart:

This sounds absolutely superb.

Sounds pretty amazing with the windows open, the sun shining and a nice cool breeze.

Deep New Age ambient soundscapes meet Eastern nodding spiritual jazz in this remote baton passing exercise instigated by Landon Caldwell (always worth checking) and made whole one layer at a time by the disparate but vibrationally attuned Flower Head Ensemble in this masterful musical meditation.

Using the side effects of oncology as a catalyst for a recording would not end well for most artists, but Hawksmoor whilst unabashedly reflecting on mortality, largely focuses on the positives - hope, resilience and determination rather than fears & self pity in this surprisingly warm LP of late night electronics for Spun Out Of Control.

This LP from @mrleesmusicbox & The Kramford Look for @wonderfulsound came out in January on vinyl for the petrol heads but luckily it’s low key funk powered, dapper string suited, glamorous grooviness is now available for the digital 99% & it’s laid back 60’s soundtrack sexiness will sound great on a summery Sunday.
