We went to a restaurant last night and have booked to go to the cinema at the weekend. We are even playing tennis soon against people from another household. Living the dream.
Fiance and i are heading to my family home in northern California this week! First time on a plane since this all kicked off. We’re tying the knot at my folks’ house in September but we’re going to visit and hang out at the beach and try to figure out some stuff for the big day, cakes and flowers and that. Renting a nice bike for a few days so i can train hill climbing before heading back to the flatlands
I love it. I spend most of my time in Kadıköy on the Asian side. Amazing places for food, good record shops and markets. The food is out of this world.
We’ve stayed near to the old airport in hotels near a big college, very inexpensive there and the night markets are as good as anywhere else I’ve been too. A guy I know started a football academy there when he moved and married a Turkish girl. Rifafutbol academy
Yeah it’s really cheap, especially at the moment with the lira tanking. Quality food and plenty of Raki for a £10
Not Fibre I can tell you that much
Love the last comment ‘we are obviously young people’. Erm yes apart from you.
Off to Manchester for the day/night for this next month. Good music in the sun (hopefully) and great food and beer at Escape to Freight Island
This Saturday in Leeds. Can’t recall how many times we’ve had to push this back; it’s been a lot.
I sense a certain trepidation from folks going to clubs again; it’s not quite the big bang we all expected but still it shoud be quite a night
Wish I had been available. Leeds is a favourite destination for a night out.
Dublin tomorrow for 3nts can’t bloody wait
Off to Orkney for 5 days next week. 5 days of chilling out in the middle of nowhere with family. Bliss.
Up in Skye last week, this was the view from the pub beer garden 10min walk from where we stayed and right next door is Lochbay, one of the best seafood joints you’ll eat in. We ate the lot btw!
That looks amazing Chris, worth every penny I’d imagine.
It was so good Gavin, incredible cooking and service in a lovely wee laid back informal setting. The pub next door is the oldest on Skye and owned by Paul Rankin, I had an amazing pint of Guinness there and beautiful plate of mince 'n tatties
Any London people going to Luke Una at Spiritland tomorrow night?
