Recently been revisiting this outstanding Beautiful Swimmers ‘Mystery Mix’ from 14 years ago. A masterclass in selection and imagination. Aside from Morenas, didn’t know any of em. Someone has filled a few gaps in here

Ha! Das Zundet is my local! I remember that night too. I’ve been going since it began. it’s changed a bunch, but still fun. highlights include: early days when it was like a Missy Elliot x LL Cool J music video cosplay. People would come in für coats, matching adidas tracksuits (in the wildest colourways), 80s luthervandros style, mustard TURTLENECKS and oversized purple zoot suits, shiny puffers, full camo. all mashed in together vibing to the groove. amazing stuff.
And watching a generation of nord Berlin graf kids discover Boogie, lovers rock, afrobeat, kawaito, calypso and E:sweat_smile:

That is awesome, wish I could’ve been there for those early days! It’s really one of like maybe 5-6 parties that are fun but serious about the music. In the entire country really
