Pusha T’s Its Almost Dry arrived finally. Such a great album. Kanye West on production duties on a few tracks, still really good in spite of all the craziness around his life.

I got Madlib’s Shades of Blue which was on the wall at a store for $100 but they were having a 35% off sale and I had another 30% off that for being a regular, so got it for $45 or so. Quite happy with that.
Actually repented my digital ways for a moment or two and copped these from Vinyl Underground on a recent trip back home to Northampton.

I had a look at Flower Records bandcamp and didn’t realise there was a Coastlines 2 LP out. 1st one is ace. Sold out on Bandcamp and pricey on Juno but now I’m hovering over the buy button…

Half term, took the kid into Poundland for Maoams & a Mr Men book for a bedtime read, browsed the nearby (dwindling thesedays) CD rack as I always do & spotted a copy of Beck’s ‘Midnight Vultures’ so picked it up, forgot how good it is, my fave album of his.

The joy of Flower Records and the Japanese reissues with the obi strip on Juno is that they don’t sell because of the eyewatering prices, so when Juno does those 300 records on sale for today only promotions they are usually in there.
