just got the new barbie bertisch album, “coke bottle” version. it’s rad.

impulse buy, but being that i love the barbie & paul shows on the lot radio and fully back love injection it was an easy purchase. and it sounds and looks awesome. props to her on a lovely record.

My friend is a massive Roisin fan (who isn’t?) and had to go to London for business. Somehow he bought two copies of the Sequins One EP thinking one was No.2 and lucky me got his extra copy. I have Ruby Blue on CD but the vinyl is gorgeous:

i feel like an idiot for only buying no. 1 - passed on 2 and 3 and now they’re tough to put hands on.

the lesson i learned here that when in doubt, buy more records then you think you might need.

It’s superb.

This was one I found digging around Discogs - a tip from a review by Freddy Fresh - it’s exactly how his review describes it - smoky piano lounge grooves

Only one clip on YouTube I could find:

Sounds like she had an interesting life:

Went into Human Head and got some absolute worldies for next to nothing.

Space Art - Melodie Moderne in the $4 racks.
X-Press 2 - Muzikism boxset for $10. Felt like I needed to own this one out of duty.
Red Greg - Love Break - $6
Dea - Canine Carnival - $12. Felt like a splurge.
Toney Lee - Love So Deep - $4
Auntie Flo - So In Love - $2
Chaka Khan - Naughty - $4
Bent - Always - $10
Thompson Twins - Play With Me (Sweet Garage mix) - $2

All in very, very good condition. I’ll take it.

And this week the postie delivered Mr Fingers - Amnesia so now we all have it.
