Whats the last record you bought?

Are some artists like John Beltran not happy with Peacefrog, not sure I would buy any of their reissues

Didn’t realise it was by them or that it was original material. But yes, that’s the one.

Also didn’t realise it is on digital/Bandcamp under Braxe & Falcon.

Another great buy-on-sight release on the way from Planet Trip. Just the one track available on Bandcamp pre-order now.

I’m sure it will be well received amongst the TP crew.

Ordered some time ago and now finally in my hand (and on my turntable as I type).
Love the music and the top notch packaging is a nice bonus.

Got my copy yesterday delivered to Australia - the handwritten note was a nice touch.

I got Donald’s House on vinyl. Started having dilemmas about whether to get physical or digital but this one I decided for some reason I wanted the record.

and then this morning I bought lots of World Building releases on Bandcamp as they have 50% off, including some Apiento and Mark Seven. I had the Mark Seven records already but since discovering that my mixing is amazing with digital (compared to my mixing with records), I decided I should just get the files too.

This is a new World Building discovery for me. Sounds great.

oh and this is available again, so now I have all 3 in the series:

It’s not in all the usual shops but Rush Hour had new copies and I got it off a UK seller via Discogs.

Yeah that happened to me with Wang Chung

This has been out for a while and I’ve some how missed it. Big fan of Isle of Jura stuff. Early 80’s boogie/disco/house drenched in reverb and delay. The Carol Williams special club dub mix is a treat.

Put in my first order from HHV in a while. That €5 birthday voucher they send roped me in

^ Italo one heard out recently. Seems it was written in the 80s but only produced recently.

^ Patrick Adams classic everyone knows, but I’ve never owned. That breakdown!

^ On the Gumba Fire Soundway comp. Sounds just like another SA one T.Z. Junior - Sugar My Love. This comp also has another favourite, Starlight - Picnicing, first heard that played by Lovefingers.

^ Had this on my wantlist for a while, and saw it on sale there.

^ Great long dub from Peaking Lights / Aaron Coynes / Leisure Connection.

^ Again this one just from using Discogs to check what they had in stock from my wantlist.

And finally the new Crossed Wires 2 on Light Sounds Dark: VARIOUS - Crossed Wires II Vinyl at Juno Records.

Yeah, good label

Can’t only be me who noticed it shares a catalogue number with ‘Smokebelch II’

I love the whole aesthetic of what S.O.N.S does plus the music is great, 90s ambient rave vibes. Stand out tracks for me are the aquatic trip hop of Upside Down and Eternity, which sounds like the Sabres of Paradise doing UKG.

One that I’ve been meaning to pick up for a while. Pressing is immaculate. Sounds really nice.

I had some time to spend in an old dusty record store and mostly checked the floor bins. Found this library record including massive cosmic track Black Danger. Found also a nice 90’s bhangra record and some new beat. They closed so early cause it was Easter but might visit the place soon again.

Well, what a record and what a find, well done!

That’s once in a lifetime levels of rare…is it for sale?

Heard this on Cerys Matthew’s 6 music show yesterday, bought immediately.
