I always was curious about the story behind that record. First heard on TP mix from Balearic Mike like 10 years ago and then it resurfaced on that reissue–never tire of it.

Lying in bed dosed up to the eyeballs on flu meds sounds great, kind of thing I’d like to make on a nice euro rack setup.
On the excellent advice of @Piers on this very site, I invested in the Desmond chambers Ep on Kalita. The Toby Tobias revision is just huge.

I’m having a weird one with that Shriekback. It’s always in the cart but then when I edit it down it’s always the last one to leave. Turning into a bridesmaid record of sorts for me.
I did the same a couple of times as I’ve already got my spine…… then forgot about it for a few weeks. Heard the b-side playing in it’s entirety while in the shop and changed my mind.
popped into hidden sounds (Ridley rd) on Friday night. Lovely store , friendly guy working. Could have left with loads more but restricted myself to this masterpiece
