Is everyone okay with the whole pre-order concept? I don’t agree with it - a bit too modern for me. May have done it once for something very specific that I’d wanted for a while, but generally paying in advance feels like buying a travel card. I’d rather pay as I go. I suppose if I was going for a meal with a large group, I may have to choose from the menu in advance, so the restaurant can order in enough of the scallops or whatever for the day. But I don’t feel inclined to do that with records.

I was looking for that Malcolm Maclaren Call a Wave record that’s on the Test Pressing t shirt, but that’s quite rare, so got this by the same guy who did the remix, Massimino Lippoli:

Also this bit of glorious disco on Motown. Annoyingly on a 7", so it’ll get lost on the shelves and will also tend to hide inside the record bag and the sleeve will get crushed by bigger records I’m putting back in.

found a local Sydney discogs seller yesterday with this - did not hesitate - a weapon for that time of the event when you need to join the crowd as one!

I just went on a massive discogs spree, first time buying records since december last year!

They’re all on the way to my sister’s flat in London, so my mom can bring them back to me when she gets back to Brazil at the end of the month. Hope they all get there in time.
