Black Merlin - Salute to The Light
An Australian discogs seller so I didn’t have to pay a fortune on shipping thankfully.
Only ever had this on cd, so it’ll be nice to hear it on newly mastered wax.

It will be the first in this series of 180g double albums mastered from a half speed lacquer cut from original sources by Alchemy Mastering, presented in a gatefold jacket adorned by reworked art by Mark Farrow.”

I agree. I think Omar S has been making truly hype worthy music lately and he gets half the attention (although similar amounts of self-hype…).

Lovely tune. Punchy price though!
Was due to arrive on Friday, just checked my email and it’s now put back to 11 June. This now set a record for me as I ordered it last November. I have been putting off streaming it as it takes away from that first play when a record arrives, this had better be bloody good.
DJ Sprinkles and Spiritualized did turn up yesterday, both found via this forum so that makes up for it. I think the Spiritualized re-issues is going to get expensive. I hope they get through to live at the Royal Albert Hall.
