Wanted this album for a while as it has a track I really like on it (Cajun Moon) but I’d forgotten the name of the artist and the track (which takes some doing).
So I saw this up on the wall at Really Good Records today and when I saw the photo it rung a bell, took it off the wall, looked at the track listing and there it was.
Horsebeach meets Fourth World vibes. Fave LP of the year so far.

Local record shop managed to get a stack in, all sold out instantly!
How is the pressing?
Seen some mixed reviews so people find it nice others a bit light on the bass.
Yet to get my hands on it.
I am pleased to report that, having taken delivery of a new amp and turntable just in time for delivery, and spun Kemistry as baptism… the pressing is fiiiiiine.
Had the day off work yesterday so had a little dig in se ldn. Vinyl hunter in Bermondsey, disc world in debtford and finally mve Greenwich. Nice to be back in the shops.

Had a UK pressing of this since around the time it came out, real big/important track for me as I’m sure I first heard it at my first night at Zenas (legendary Plymouth club, well legendary locally anyway).
Always wanted an OG Italian press and finally got around to getting one, little bit annoyed that my UK pressing that I got given from free sounds like its mastered better then this og pressing is.
Love this record. It did my head in during the cosmic rediscovery years when I heard it borrowed a fair bit from this

If anyone is interested rush hour have copies of the new moodymann LP. All the UK shops are either sold out or selling out immediately. With postage it works out about the same as buying it in the UK. For some reason it’s cheaper than it originally shows on the page when you click through to the order.
