Whats the last record you bought?

Whenever I find a James Last album in a charity shop bin, I scan the tracklist on the back in the hope that this is on there. It never is…

Payfones Volt to Volt, superb stuff again and the 40 Thieves remix is a :rocket:.

DD Mirage album also came through, not played it yet.

Spent close to £300 on records this month but this one in particular has been glued to the turntable. So good

That Jamie Principle album is bobbins, I don’t know why I bought it really, other than that I used to have it on cassette when I was a student.

I picked this up in a charity shop today. It sounds so much better than the LP version.

couple new deliveries yesterday. always kind of disappointing when they come on the same day, was trying to spread out the dopamine release.

big fan of andrew wasylyk. dude makes some gorgeous stuff. that dovs LP is similarly gorgeous, but in a very different way - both moody, but one’s almost traditional and the other is futuristic. and of course, the n1_sound - i didn’t think much of it at first but listening to it while running errands the other day and i changed my mind and had to scoop it before it was gone.

being that i loved the second dovs album so much, i went back and bought the first. was lucky to get my hands on the good block album - was going to buy it through bandcamp but the shipping to the US was bonkers. luckily chloe had it, along with a few cheap nang LPs. tbh i don’t love “voices” that much, reminds me of that early 2k arpeggiated trance that i mercilessly made fun of (so white!). but i do like “lifestream” and who knows, maybe i’ll develop a soft spot for 136 bpm again someday.

No way- we used to have the tape of this in my mum and dad’s Guest House - used to get played when the guests were having dinner.:rofl::rofl:

That saved me some time, was just going to look it up as I’ve not seen it before.

I have the same Tabu Ley & M’bilia Bel LP, picked it up on eBay stupidly cheap a few years back, cover nowhere near as clean as yours though!

Every time I play Hafi Deo I’m reminded of how absolutely perfect it is. One of those records that gives me goosebumps when I hear it on a proper system, and I always think of that John Peel quote about Teenage Kicks in which he said “there’s nothing you could add to it or subtract from it to make it any better”.
