This is amazing. Album by Karantamba called Galgi. Previously unreleased music from Gambia in 1988, reissued late last year. Killer stuff.

Just ordered a brand new copy from HHV in Germany for 11 euros with shipping and tax came to 17 English pounds. I had to double check this was the correct LP. They may have more available if anyone is interested. Great recommendation

Anybody here live in Cambridge? One of my best mates moved his family to the UK a year or so ago and they’ve opened a cafe on Victoria Rd called Ellimatta. In the back room is a small but expertly curated record store he’s opened. If amybody visits, tell him Pikey sent ya!

That ZG record went criminally unnoticed when it came out last year. A perfect companion record to the a.s.o. album and Tornado Wallace’s Lonely Planet.

I made an order from Chloe recently and she couldn’t find a record I ordered, didn’t tell me and I had to resolve it myself. Not the greatest service and quite frustrating. Still going to give her a positive review though because I know hie much a negative review can hurt business but to say I’m annoyed is an understatement.

found a copy on ebay, never seen it for sale before, copped purely for collecting / artwork / comical purposes, maybe there would be an acceptable time to play it out, probably my mates kitchen at 7am.
unfortunately postman snapped the record trying to ram it into letter box. absolute killer that

aw man, that sucks. i order from them every few weeks, never had an issue. hopefully that’s just a total anomaly!
