Whats the last record you bought?

The black one with the red writing? My brother had that when we were young…

The Dorothy Ashby LP sounds absolutely fucking lush. How represses should be done basically.

Not bought any records for myself in a long time (possibly the last was a 7" from @Piers online shop), but I did get my big sister a copy of the very good Dimensions Of The Drums by Nat Birchall.

Anyone know the name of the font on that Dorothy Ashby cover? So dope.

God I can’t wait for your benatar edit. Bought the OG thinking it would tide me over and it isn’t.

Love a good font @lovehandles - it’s called Amelia by Stan Davis from 60s and is used on a lot of other covers, not often as well as that.

Jinx!

begs the question - if Thriller is the biggest selling album of all time, why aren’t charity shops full of copies?

Yeah, they say Blue Monday is the biggest selling 12" ever, but in my record/charity/junk shop experience I would say the most common is probably something by Frankie Goes To Hollywood

A charity shop classic along with Alison Moyet’s Raindancing and of course No Parlez.
