Saw your insta post and was interested off the back of that so I emailed Atlantis but no response as of yet, fingers crossed!
Aidy at Vinyl Underground is always apologetic when they have to stock particular records that have to be priced at eye watering prices. There was a 12 on there a couple of weeks ago for £36. Not Japanese, Tyneside.
And again a Darryn Jones edit.
FWIW, I’ve been a sucker for that kind of thing over the years but I listened to the clips and just thought both sides were rubbish. Edit, b side was ok but why Juno had it a nearly £40 is beyond me.
Might be worth giving Jelly Records a bell too.
Me too!
That lot will cheer you up. Nice.
Been quite s few recently… not sure they’d all appeal to everyone but this is a great slab of laid back grooviness that’s solid test pressing vibe imho
Had to get a copy of this. Some things worth shelling out for. Thanks @chiz , straight into my top 5 electro tunes of all time
Bought this about 6 months ago on a bandcamp pre-order. It arrived today, before the dispatch and tracking details email which came through this evening.
@Amboss Glad you liked it! Nice find with the original hype sticker!
Earlier in the year I messaged Jones on Insta about a subsequent release of his that he’d posted. While I was at it I asked if he had any copies of Willing and Able knocking around. He said he would have to check his storage unit. Not wanting to put him to the trouble unnecessarily I asked the price. “$150, if I have any.” No mention of live performances or head massages etc. Needless to say, I passed.
Able but not willing, good man ![]()

FFS. Get over it Jonesy it’s an edit!
He lives here in Geneva, so they have loads of his stuff in Bongo Joe’s. I’m sure that when I arrive at Swiss airport there’s camera recognition of my face and a guy mutters, « we.re going to take you to the farking cleaners » like in Lock, Stock…. Though(t) I was v restrained today.
I’m off to Montreux today and will see if I can find the festival poster shop….
