The horn or string section on that sounds so familiar, I just can’t place my finger on it.

This sounds amazing but annoyingly has a slight warp.

Just arrived in the post today.
Discotecas? Yeah, yeah- I’m not trying to curry favor with the mods here, I swear -but damn that Sade edit is wonderful. That bassline. I recently received the 45 for “Paradise” but the center hole is off-kilter so it’s ever so slightly, irritatingly woozy-sounding. Boo. This edit is a good replacement.

Picked this one up too: super punchy Paul Hardcastle edit on the A side

Had the PH remix ( he was on TOTP with them I think) but compared to FKs…

It’s not bad. Just not totally flat! Plays fine and sounds fucking amazing.

The Peace Pipe edit bangs so hard. And, I agree, an amazing sounding record.

Was up in Newcastle over the weekend with the kids but managed to squeeze in an hour at 586. Top little shop and a lovely bloke

haha, is this the one that’s allowed to be stolen back by the Wu, but only in a heist involving Bill Murray?

That cover version was a long time DJ Duckcomb freebie Bandcamp edit favourite of mine. I see Sound Metaphors are putting it out now.

Duckcomb has taken it down. Shout if you want a cheeky WAV.
