What you going to?

I’m not, but wish I was…

Update on Mildlife at Patterns, Brighton last night: a great set to a small but appreciative crowd. Lots of deep, noodling synths, flutes and wibbling bass. A cracking mix of prog, jazz, cosmic/kosmiche disco

Cancelled the Manchester show

Their forthcoming La Musica Remix* of their own track Musica, is bloody marvellous.

*you can hear it on my show tomorrow (plug, plug)

Killer line up. Gutted unable to go but heading on holiday which cushions the blow…

Looks good and was also looking for something to do that weekend as is a mate’s 50th. We were thinking Sancho but this could be the one.

@howler how many people at We Are Love? Is it pretty intimate/small scale?

Never say never but don’t think I can make it sadly. So skint right now :disappointed_relieved: Had great fun in 2022, although this one looks better across the board. Some serious heavyweights on there. Friendly vibes and beautiful setting if skies behave. Whoever’s going, say hi to Mison and the rest of the gang :sunrise:

Yes, last year was the biggest so far but I wasn’t there. Probably a couple of thousand at a guess. It’s very much small and boutique type vibe. Great fun!

Sounds good. Looks like we will have a decent crew attending.

Are you hanging out for the weekend or just arriving by helicopter for your set on the Sunday?

Not sure yet, tbh. Depending on babysitters, etc. Hopefully can make it from Fri eve to Sunday night. :crossed_fingers:t3:

Heels n Souls boat tonight on the Thames.

Forum favourite DJ Lloyd is only playing the last hour as we sail into Greenwich. He must be playing some other parties in Europe this weekend. Unless he just really likes boats?

There’s an after party at Venue MOT Unit 18 in Peckham from midnight. I’m not going to that bit.

***If anyone wants 2x free tickets for the after party let me know and I’ll send them to you. ***

DJs at the afters are Heels n Souls followed by Sibil and Mayell so it will be nice tunes/friendly vibes.

So I can report that DJ Lloyd is a lovely guy and he tore it up last hour on this boat party. Impeccably programmed across multiple genres, mixed as you’d expect. For example: last few tunes included an insane Daft Punk edit, Paid In Full/Coldcut, fucking Hallelujah (!) ending on LCD/Dance yrself Clean. He’d played Strings of Life into Mental, proper old tune, my pal was going nuts to it. A brilliant version of Anarchy In The U.K. it goes on.

He also shared the ID on that amazing 17 Days cover he plays on Lot Radio.

Cult hero status only enhanced tonight x

Sounds amazing. Crazy only giving him an hour - sounds like he packed a lot in though!

Just looked at getting tickets to take my 14 year old to see Travis Scott at White Hart Lane as he’s a massive fan. £237!!! I know concert tickets have been getting more expensive but that’s ridiculous. Think I’ll give it a miss…

Holy guacamole! Does that include a season ticket for Spurs?
