Alice Russell was great at Village Underground on Tuesday night. Her voice is so strong and she had two amazing backing singers. She played her whole new album plus couple of more familiar songs. Soulful throughout, jazzy in part, and with TM Juke on synth and FX, I was surprised what a big sound and dance feel there was on some tracks.
