What you going to?

My mate has a video from Friday night and this is the track playing.

Great idea, it’s like the western version of hiring karaoke booth!

The “listening” bar is becoming slightly ubiquitous. Looks a nice set up though.

Cork tomorrow night

Stereolab at electric Brixton were excellent. Was funny being stuck behind Paul having him block the view wondering if it was Paul. @Apiento

Band were so tight and the sound was amazing. You would never know they a band from the 90s sounded so fresh. Very current.

Did they do Simple Headphone Mind?

Yes they did - although appeared to be more a backing track that the band then played over. Still sounded pretty epic.

And good meeting you Paul ! Think that’s definitely a first for me - browsing the web waiting for a band to come on and someone tap me on the shoulder sayings its their website  ! And sorry, should have said a BIG thanks for the forum

Really enjoyed Stereolab. I thought it took a bit of time to get going but once they hit their groove, it just sounded absolutely massive. Glad I caught them.

Bagged a ticket for Nils Frahm at the Barbican next summer.

Hope she’s ok. Crappy thing to happen, knocked my confidence a bit when I got done in Finsbury Park many years ago. Avoided dark corners for a bit and still walk down the outside of the pavement, but soon bounced back.

Best wishes to her.

We’re doing that one. Whole family, as my 17 year old is a big fan. Think the 12 year old is more worried that it’s just going to be too loud as she’s not been to a venue like that before.

Nice, they’ll love it I’m sure. I only managed to book a 3pm show and not the best seat, but worth it. Saw him there about 5 years ago and it was one of the best live performances I’ve seen

Fckn nightmare… Hope she is OK
