Yeah. An undeniable writing talent imo, but I just wish he’d dial it back a bit, dispense with the unnecessary swearing and ‘shock’ factor.
He’s not stupid by any means, but he could craft his stand up routines a little better.

I’m going to the London gig too. I’m a late convert to Stereolab but become a huge fan. Would have loved to have seen them in peak metronomic mode in the 90s.

Dal and rice would go far as you could make huge batches. Make it not spicy and provide chilli flakes on the side - that should work for everyone.

Agreed, don’t like the way he revels in saying the unsayable. Seems to do it just for effect rather than because he actually thinks it’s funny. The Office and Extras were brilliant though so there is genius in there, but I thought After Life and Derek were bang average
