What you going to?

Yes that’s the one, they usually sell out pretty quickly anyhow but this is the 20th Anniversary so prob went extra quick. I’ve been about 4 or 5 times and the first time was like coming home. Really inspiring.
I’ll be at Stewart Lee on the Weds, If you’re there then and see a bloke with a couple in their 50’s with two very confused/non plussed teenagers it may well be us :joy: Personally, I can’t wait. Absolutely love his stuff.

The first time we went to see him in Brighton he did a full 20 minutes opening bit about how the audience was entirely made up of middle-aged couples bringing their teenage children and that we weren’t worthy of his level of comedy. Just brilliant.

oh i’ll look forward to that! :joy:

Just booked New Order tickets for the O2 in September, haven’t seen them before and it’s a Friday night so will probably make a nice weekend in the capital out of it.

I remember being in my early 20s and finding it too much walking around staircases was required in Fabric. You need to psyche yourself up to visit another room or to find your mates.

I do remember the wine always being good value. So for a more affordable night, red wine was the way to go for me.

Off to Luke Una at Jazz Cafe tonight. Mate’s birthday. Turns out we have club night tickets for later. Might get in early (and pay again) to see the bands first. Enjoying the Bay Bryan album and intrigued to see/hear if the buzz is real.

Heading there later myself. Come say hi!

Missed the earlier gigs last night. Thought they were included when we booked the original tickets. Luke played some excellent stuff later. That Crooked Man remix of Jim “Phoenix” sounded amazing as did Carl Craig’s Incongito remix.

Good to see you last night. Jazz Carnival sounded large too IIRC. Is that crooked man remix released yet?

Good to see you as well. Managed to bag myself a lie in this morning!

Tried looking online and can’t find anything. Only links to the original. Yep Jazz Carnival was pretty epic!

Yeah a good night. I enquired about the bands and they told me it was another £25 for a ticket so I gave that a miss. Thought it was a nice vibe. Great set from Luke and that version of Phoenix a definite stand out.

Brixton jazz festival this afternoon. Some good bits but I find Truman brewery a bit tiring overall.

We had a day out at Jupiter Artland today, an outdoor exhibition space set in the grounds of a lovely country house. Some of the :scotland: on here may have been? We loved it, fresh air, great staff and lots to see

If you would like to come please send your name and any friends names to [email protected] or msg via Instagram.
