What you going to?

He’s a resident at Queen! and he does basically every festival in Chicago so I’ve seen him too many times. Chicago struggles with variety when it comes to house/club music (opinion is my own).

Edit - I didn’t mean to sound so woe is me. I realize it’s a lucky problem to have.

Nature was flat. I hadn’t seen him play since Brizzle days and was really looking forward to it, so was a little disappointed.

I stayed until the end and Logan played great as did RadioSlave in the main room.

missed Frankie Foncett- but it made me wonder what has he been doing since his 90’s peak? really good dj and a couple of fantastic mixes not least this

Derrick Carter changed my life. Nowadays the relentless acapellas completely do my head in.

A mate was at an after party with him once, and was like, “Derrick you had such an impact on me, you’re so good blah… blah… blah”

Long pause.

“What happened?!”

My mate went he said it was super disorienting, lots of involuntary swaying from side to side feeling like he was going to fall over…

Have fun! :face_holding_back_tears::grimacing:

Unique!

And it was much less of the crazy Max4Live than some of the later LP’s.

Reminds me of this epic b2b. I was obsessed with it back in the day.
