What you going to?

Off to 180 Studios again this evening to see Rian Traenor noodling on some synths, Devon’s system is pretty good, lots of new sounds discovered in familiar records last night.

Going to this at the end of September. Only cost £15 for an early bird weekend ticket which must be the bargain of the year. Bit of a strange location, Milngavie (pronounced mil-guy) is an affluent suburb way out on the outskirts of Glasgow. In all my decades of going out. It has never had anything going on that could be considered culturally cool. Then suddenly last year little events started popping up there - Derrick Carter, HMD and Mr Scruff among others. I’ve been a bit sceptical, but that line-up has piqued my interest enough to give it a go.

First day back to normality after getting back from Love International last week. It was so good again! Was my fourth time there and it gets better and better…Crowd is so nice, no bad vibes at any stage, and the site and production standards were top notch. Highlights were Francesco Del Garda, Make A Dance, Dave Harvey/Felix D on the boat, Luke Una, Lexx, Powder…Craig Richards at Barbs the last night I was there was just ridiculous with Christian AB. Nice to bump into @Apiento for a brief chat. Will be back again!

back from a solid weekend at Rotation

solid saga rave crowd of middle aged, t shirt admiring men and glittered up glamma mothers

100% the right thing to do was a hotel for the 3 nights and commute to the site

sets of the weekend for me. sean p, richard sen and frankie valentine (A Band Called Flash - Phantom - YouTube) being a highlight

Decent lineup. Barbarossa is an underrated DJ and Glasgow mainstay.

Me too, but just for the day on Saturday.

The fact that it’s a 24 hour ticket helps.

You had me up to Stevenage

Jeffrey Silverstein’s playing a few dates in Europe - I’m sure it was someone here who pointed me in his direction.

Camp bestival this weekend, with 5 and 7 year old. There’s about 5 families going together so early start to try and pitch relatively close together.

I’m foreseeing a middle aged, middle class version of trying to get a spot on Pennards Hill on Wednesday at Glastonbury :joy:
