I saw his live set at Brixton Disco Fest a few years back and was pretty impressed.
I can’t make the ACR gig at the Garage (Highbury) tomorrow.

We’ve been asked to play the Corner Bar at the Tate in June with Beak brewery. Anyone got experience of that place?
This weekend we go long at their taproom in Lewes. Sunshine guaranteed, actual and audial.
If anyone fancies it, I’ll buy them a drink.

What’s the sound like at Beak? Have played music at um, another place in Lewes and i really struggled with the sound

Maybe you meanAbyss? Another brewery and Tap room. We did an event there about 4 years ago and put a big (ish) F1 soundsystem inside and out . The place went off. We never got asked back They struggle with neighbours so have an in house system at low volume.
At Beak we take our Funktion One System. 4x F101s and 2 BR115s.
I make sure it sound beautiful.
They are slightly out of town (a 5 min walk) under a cliff, no neighbours so we can make as much noise as we want.
It’s a quality sound so easy to chat yet hear the music fully. We turn it up for dancing as required

The Corner Bar is great and is our #1 meeting spot in that part of town.
Lovely airy space, good service & drinks at not silly prices.
No idea about sound or how its set up for events, but a good friend of mine has done it a few times so I’ll find out if there’s anything you need to know .

Looked more like playback + some knob twiddling. He had a percussionist and bassist with him but that was it. It sounded great because the sound system was good all night but in terms of a show it was a bit underwhelming.
