Amazing, what a journey for your old man and your family. There’s nothing like football.

Thanks chaps. He had a pretty tough winter with various infections and getting put on medication that should never be given to those with Dementia, but this whole thing has given him joy and a focus. Just need to get him down to Edinburgh without any drama :joy:

They call a lot of things ‘peak Brighton’ but this really is it

The polling station, today.

I absolutely love polling stations and the people who run them. I’d like to believe the ruler they use to find your name is a ceremonial object.

I really wanted to kick over the Reform placard/A frame thingy outside the Polling Station but social decorum got the better of me. Which is more than those wannabe Fascist cunts deserve…

I went along to see a near neighbour standing outside wearing a sky blue rosette. I told him I was disappointed but not surprised. He’d previously told me he’d ’met’ Farigge whilst he was a beater and Man of the people Nige was one of the guns. FFS.
I literally (and I do mean actually) held my nose whilst voting for the green councillor who is absolutely f’in useless.
I was close to spoiling my paper but the thought of my vote letting the c@nts in was too much.

Respect to you all for getting your vote in. I don’t get to vote, so often feel like a leaf in the wind. I hope you keep as many of the nasties out as possible.

The options of who to vote for are akin to choosing which foot you’d like your testicles booted with, but I will never not vote. And it’s not been as important to do so since 1945.

The Music Is Black Exhibition at the new V&A East was a lot of fun. Interactive exhibits that play the music related to the piece you are viewing. Shame about the building which is a bit of a disappointment.

Went to the one last year and it was great. Can’t make this one though!

I saw them just before Covid in Islington and they were incredible. One of the best gigs I have ever been to.
