Spotted this, looks good. I guess there will be proper systems and dance floors rather than just the usual brewery stuff?

Scotland are playing in the World Cup that night at 2am. Not sure I’ve been raving before a football match before, but this could be it

I know Low Life + Grace Sands are playing in one part of it. Not sure where but proper sound system. Going to be a decent turnout for it.

I’m playing Wacky Races in a convoy of camper vans in Japan next month and have tagged some small but perfectly formed DJ dates on. Hit me up if any Test Pressers are in the area. Numm looks particularly choice…

Bit of a long shot here, but desperate times…

Wanting to see Byrne’s show again, especially with my youngest son whoe’s a massive Talking Heads fan as a birthday present for him. Only just noticed 3 dates in Edinburgh were added 201st-22nd July (when I just happen to down in Edinburgh for a wedding). Sadly all primary tickets are gone, so hoping for resale/spares/unable to make it/etc.

If any of you lovely people here of anything, I would be eternally grateful. Not hopeful at all, but you never know.

I’m going to see him in Halifax at The Piece Hall. Should be a pretty spectacular gig in that venue.

I’d recommend setting up an alert on Twickets. I’ve nearly always managed to get tickets to sold out gigs but you do have to be pretty quick once you get an alert. It’s face value or less and booking fee.

Went yesterday. Was a great experience.

Soundsystem is ace. Crystal clear, loads of bass, a well designed space. It really is the best i’ve ever heard.
The main room holds 500p, second room about a 100. Spent most of my time in the small room with Nosedrip and Joni b2b Denzel, who played a great set of 90ies tech-house records. Staff is super friendly, if you act normal entry is not a problem but buying tickets on advance is a must.

Wuppertal itself is a bit of a letdown. Hardly any bars or restaurants worth the visit. Mostly kebab or fastfood chains.

Will be going again for a more house or disco inspired night.

Excellent, that sounds fantastic. Think we were looking at staying in one of the larger local cities so that confirms it.
