Dublin anniversary weekender end of month…
Sean’s doing another long shift here the following night. Dunno how he does it!
Yeah think I seen urself and @del are heading to that if I remember correctly, Barcelona isn’t it? Hopefully he doesn’t get too carried away on the Guinness on the Friday! ![]()
Yes! Can’t wait for that. Been revisiting loads of mixes over the last few weeks (spanish motorway tailbacks have their perks…) and the recording from Phonox the week AW passed is still incredible listening. Trully heroic given everything
I’m really looking forward to it! My glow sticks are charging in readiness! Gregg - have a ball!
It will be a good weekend in the city
that fidelity sound system is something else ![]()
Yeah, that was a phenomenal effort that night. I was (unlucky) enough to be there for it all.
I think they had back buddies/DJs to help out if he wasnt up for the full stint
Chris is good people ![]()
Aba Shanti-I at the Blues Kitchen in Manchester tomorrow night. Friday booked off work thankfully…
Been corralled in to hacienda do at Drumsheds next Feb with about 16 other aging like mindeds. Line up is not too bad tbf.
Is it any good as a venue?
That was my fear. Justin Robertson, David Holmes and James Holroyd should be enough to keep me interested tbf. Kevin Saunderson too.
Move Ya Body was good at IMAX. definitely worth a watch. Good to see you @TimIndulge
Going to the Arthur Baker on Saturday.
Youngest is in SE Asia currently, was on the phone raving about Klymax Potato Head earlier. Does sound great.
Vince Lawrence & the roots of house ![]()

Lee Burridge ???
Im sure a nice bloke & was big ( was he part of the Sasha / Tyrant thing) but a film?
Friend went to see the Congos in Manchester last week
How old are they?
Cedric is 78.
The house doc is really good. I watched it today. Just some great stories. I also watched the Lee Burridge doc out of interest. He seems like a genuinely nice chap but it’s maybe not for me and yes he was part Tyrant etc.
Arthur Baker thing was a bit odd tbh. Good turnout at BFI but not a great doc imo. Lacked substance.
Thought the Move Ya Body/Vince Lawrence doc at the imax on Thursday was great. Really enjoyed it especially on that huge screen. Not surprisingly, a healthy turnout of London club/house music faces.
