hot glue the cables in?

I’ve had these for easily 20 years. On my second pair of pads and did buy a longer, curly cable at some point.

Not sure, feels like the female part inside the driver has become loose, if you put sideways pressure on male part you can make contact. Did think of trying to dab some solder on pins to make them bigger perhaps, then maybe glue gun in place?
On reading that back sounds like a metaphor of my life
