Sadly it seems ketamine doesn’t work on unicorns, only horses and humans.

They need to synthesise a new drug that will effectively kill unicorns (especially rave unicorns) to stamp out this nonsense- with it’s weird, fetishised “I’m regressing into being a toddler, but I’m also as high as fuck” aesthetic.

Even Harry Potter wants ‘Unicorn on K’ to die, and he loves them

Crooked Man - never got the appeal. New album is big room clubland production house with a couple of interesting flourishes. What am I missing that people here love so much?

Generally big fan & played new album last night & did think big room ( not in bad way)

I’m sort of with you, I’m not massively into it but I get the appeal. He’s got a certain style that you dont really hear anywhere else. Its a very big sound, and the production is always top, top quality. If I was doing more club / house gigs I’d probably slip a few of his tracks in

Does nothing for me whatsoever but I’ve been keeping it quiet

Really like the first track on the album, the rest of it totally forgettable

Yeah, pretty much feel the same way re. Crooked Man. The only track that really ever hit for me was this one on a Luke Una comp.

I only really like his sound when its behind a big vocal when I think it works really well - Incapable or the Thelmas

Whaoh, we have a counter to the DJ Parrot Appreciation Thread. Can’t say I know a huge amount of the back catalogue but the Amy Douglas and Lady Blackbird remixes alone put me firmly in the pro camp.

I like plenty of music he’s done but the Crooked Man stuff leaves me totally cold.

I’m thinking of Confidence Man? Who I’m not sure I entirely understand? (aside from remixs)

After being a Sheffield resident 1989 - 93 I find myself in the cult & have loved recent stuff

Big Love / Fleetwood Mac sampling one is proper awful

Jus saying
