What don't you get

Yes - if they’re legit they’ll last forever and it makes cooking so much less of a chore. You really only need a few things in a kitchen pace Anthony Bourdain, and in my experience as well–a good heavy pan and a sharp knife.

I’ve got a Le Creuset dutch oven that was passed down to my missus from her mum.

Her mum bought it in '85!

The little knob/handle thing on the lid broke a few years back, got a replacement.

Apart from that, it’s been bulletproof.

I purchased the full range of those Aldi Lecresuset copies - they’re good!

Edit- my facebook feed is nothing but ads for pots and pans since I posted about this topic!

Live Laugh Love motivational quotes on just about anything.

Mrs J_C got me a few Lulu Lemon workout tops a while ago. They are really nice but I only just noticed they all have this kinda BS inside the arms and neck

Same - incredibly good value a few years back

Just pretend they’re the names of mid 90s house tunes

Don’t know much of his music bar bits heard on the radio at work.

However…

this one, I do remember fondly, causing mayhem on a couple of occasions at Optimo :joy:

I have a friend who had a side job as a designer for lululemon clothing. The job paid well. His main thing was art, and as an artist his work was incredibly dark with death and skulls and hellish themes. Well-regarded but intense artwork, it was quite the juxtaposition!

Why is David Beckham now the face for Bowers & Wilkins?
After underpants, air fryers, whisky, lager and on line tat, he now pushes expensive hifi.

I’ve learned that clarity doesn’t just come from slowing down, it comes from finding focus even when life’s moving at full speed. Music helps me carve out that space to think.

Glaring omission -

The Left (although not all by any stretch). They’re clinging onto the economic system that goes straight back to the Milk Snatcher, and the opportunity that the 1973 crisis gave the Neoliberals their moment. There’s complete apathy with many who have actually defended policies that most of the right have even given up (at least in talk).

He likes “a bit of everything”.

Very varied taste you see.
