Don’t get me wrong, I love a roller coaster as much as the next man, and water parks too. I was referring to the thirty-something, childless couples, her in Minnie Mouse ears or Princess outfit, and him invariably in an ill-fitting Star Wars t-shirt, that I used to see in Disneyland Paris when would would take the kids about 10 years ago.
Draughtsman in my team at work goes geocaching most weekends, he’s explained it a few times but I still dont get it.
We have a water park near me that I bought a season pass for as it’s an easy day out with the kids, and there are two guys in their 50’s who totally regress to childhood. Racing each other through the park. Doing races down the slides. Basically laughing their heads off and, honestly, it’s the healthiest adult relationship I’ve seen in a long time. Apparently they meet each other every summer and have a day at the water park.
That’s basically me! A cookie before really intensifies the fun.
Honestly long may they prosper because they are standing between me and actually having to take my kids as my wife is firmly in your camp. Kids ask, she brings them up and we don’t go. Saved me thousands of dollars.
Grown ass men walking around with Labubu’s.
What’s a Labubu? Bubulands
It seems like the BBC broadcast Kneecap after all, but people on social media still seem to be outraged about the BBC censoring them. Is this just social media outrage mongers refusing to change their scripted rage bait posts, or am i missing something?
Edit:
The whole set is up…
That’s a very familiar comment in our house!
I was in the Fav for that one!
The only censored part was around comments on Jeffrey Donaldson that are sub-judice. But online outrage continues as expected.
Selective outrage is a hell of a drug. I had to create a twitter account for a few hours so I could get in contact with someone and it was eyeopening - despite not having tweeted anything, or followed anyone, clicked on any profile, my feed was relentless shite, divisive opinions, from both sides. The far right shite (and Musk) was more prominent.
Daily Mail Gammons: you cant say anything these days, bloody Woke police etc
Also DM Gammons: THEY CANT SAY THAT ! ITS AN OUTRAGE ETC
I feel like if everyone shut the fuck up for a bit, everyone would be a bit less tense.
Maybe the fact that someone live streamed the entire set on Tiktok forced their hand?
I’ve no idea by the way, just a thought.
Unabated and unconstrained by facts
As is it’s wont
Just put this on briefly…
Horrific
It’s like they exhumed Peter Stringfellow as well as most of the front row.
Rod seems to be wearing a pair of maternity jeans he picked up from George at Asda.
I mean, it ain’t really my cup of tea, but if I’ve still got that kind of energy at 80, I’d be milking it for all it’s worth.
Big respect to Rod - he’s built the UK’s largest model railway hasn’t he?
Fair enough. Mean spirited of me- I do think these events need to be giving better opportunities to up and coming acts mind
Exactly why i love hearing Kenny or Louie dj individually but no thanks to a MAW set of nothing but MAW hits…
