The comparison i keep seeing/reading is the suffragettes (who bombed stuff) and that the cause now is bigger as its the earths future and if nothing happens they will take the same route. Im not sure about it tbh.
I guess its a case of dumb stunts getting more publicity than your traditional placards outside the gates effort.
Whenever they do things like this it makes the news and is all over socials. Seems like any support they do get is cancelled out by those that oppose it so not sure if theyre actually making any progress.
I sorta get it, most people complaining just want them to go somewhere quiet and do their protest out of the way.
Most of us are probably too old to have to really suffer the grim future that looks pretty inevitable at this point anyway, and maybe the point is that we care more about maintaining the pretty things that will exist in our lifetime than we do about our children’s future in a world where none of that stuff will really matter any more anyway.
I mean… they have more money and time to be doing that sort of thing… Plus these sorts of things are just what they know innit? Mona Lisa vandalised, Stone Henge painted.
If the lower middle classes were protesting you might have your favourite food market disrupted by loud Fred Again songs played from the back of a self built (during covid, with progress posted on insta) camper van, or your favourite taco truck tipped over.
Jesus take a breath man!
He should wear a dressing gown and eat dry Weetabix if he wants to be successful.
Hahaha
the big guy/tiny microphone thing always kind of cracks me up
No sticker bowl either. Amateur.
Aaaaagh
Just spent 10 minutes doom scrolling on instagram before I got one of his videos. Does this mean he’s peaked?!

Someone prompted an AI image generator with “strange looking man in bathrobe eats chicken finger from a dog bowl.”
He do look like he is about to burst into tears on occasions whilst dancing.
I’ve never sold records on Discogs before and this week I sold two. One for $200 and the other for $100. After fees etc I walked away with about $220. That’s taking the piss.
sounds like you did something wrong there - doesn’t make sense?
For the $100 record I got $93.50 after they’d paid shipping etc.
For the $200 record I got $174.07.
Total $267.57 and then $25.40 to ship is $242.17.
What dues Discogs usually take?
Usually around 10% overall
here’s an example of a recent sale of mine. Maybe it’s different for UK taxation costs?
I looked it up and it’s effectively me paying the tax for Michigan and New Jersey where these records went. It’s all good though. Better than the $1 a piece a chances offered me for the whole collection.
He was just on the BBC’s Euro 2024 closing montage playing records and talking about the teams.
What has the world come to
Beat me to it lol
