What don't you get

Went with a mate who is a sound engineer and he was fawning after the Macintosh rigs

This whiny twerp!

Bore off!

Yeah I know. I love to hate this guy!

The fuck is a ‘Backspacer’?

Note to self: must get a sticker basket and a bowl to keep my record cleaning products in.

So the back spacer is somehow more level than the very level back wall of the shelf?

Yup! This guy is basic AF!

Yeah really good live, Pat Mahoney is one hell of a drummer.

I did wonder :joy:

I completely don’t understand? Is it meant to be placed upright in the back corner so your records are then facing out slightly? or is is lengthwise so the records are tipped back slightly?

What would be the benefit of either of these? Is it something else entirely? Is this going to change my life? A piece of wood that i place in some mysterious place on my record shelf? I must know.

These:

Allows a collector the perfect spacing to the front edge of storage for all their vinyls.

Went to Manchester one. Was amazing also saw them at Warehouse project which was also pretty special. Will be checking them at Glastonbury this year. As long as they don’t clash with Coldplay :joy:

It may sound crazy but i have issues with my records all being against the wall on the shelf and a kind of musty mould catches a lot of them. My builder mate shakes his head and says air circulation is key with houses and that’s the problem. So, not as mad an idea as it seems.

Fair point. I move mine away from the wall tbf.

Can I still hate him for the ‘cleaning bowl’ and ‘sticker basket’?

Yes, definitely.

If you’ve got room for a cleaning bowl you don’t have enough vinylss

I don’t get those cellophane wrappers with a sticky bit to seal it up, which some records have. Not shrink wrap, not a plastic cover. Just annoying.

Corporate politics.

It’s disgusting.

So annoying! I buy a lot of vinyl from Japan, and they seem to be the standard.

It was a Japanese record that got me all upset about it this morning! I’m loathed to chuck them away as they’ve usually got a label/sticker on them as part of the release.
