Funny thing Black Mirror. I’ve enjoyed all I’ve seen of it for its dysfunctional, clever, very pointed view of society. However, my dear wife hates it so I haven’t fully immersed myself in it. Life goes on.

i’d call this a rare and noteworthy “icarus, only the opposite”.
Either way the direction was eventually down and the results fatal. It’s reported that there was a lot of reckless disregard of safety concerns as far as the OceanGate was concerned, perhaps just about as daft as Icarus attaching his wings with wax. The lawyers must be circling by now. At least Icarus didn’t have to deal with that. Probably just real avian vultures.
Did you pick up that OceanGate’s HQ is in our shared regional neighborhood? Everett. The website is also down right now. So appropriate it’s painful.

I was walking through the village (not really a village) here this afternoon and saw a teen on a bike with one… I did a double-take as thought my eyes deceived me. The ‘mullet-ee’ looked back at me too.
Mate in Aus told me a couple of years ago about the fashion for so-called ironic mullets, ironic or not a mullet is a mullet.
