Have to agree. It’s a supremely produced, classy pop house track like only Frankie could do. Maybe not something I’d play but I’m kind of glad it exists.
I saw them live at Sonar I think the year it came out. It was very very house. Banjee boys and drag queens on stage and lots of attitude
One for the synth heads. ALM Busy Circuits; yes I know there is some affiliation with TP and yes I know some of their products are considered as ‘must haves’ in euro land. I also realise the reason behind their choices is about brand identity and said choices reflect a uniquely British idea and are rooted in British 1970s typography trends. However, personally I can’t stand the fonts they use on their modules for the module names. This stuff costs a lot of money and I much prefer the understated but classy or no nonsense designs of Joranalogue or Intellijel modules for example.
This ties in with dry robe wankers, but wild swimming wankers. Holier than though cold water zealots, fuck off, you’re literally just wading into a sheep carcass infested pool in your under crackers for the Instagram…
Is that not true of anyone who posts anything on the internet? The element of look at me etc
I’m a swimmer and I think it is a great form of exercise. Guy I work with took up swimming outdoors during lockdown and did wonders for his mental health.
Judging by Danny Rampling insta his embrace of wild swimming trend appears to have coincided with him going off the proverbial deep end into anti-vax conspiracy/protests etc.
I read the Roger Deakin book during first lockdown and it was truly inspiring - even got me to jump into our frigid Puget Sound a few times last summer. I followed the wild swimming hashtag expecting to vicariously live out my Lake District float fantasies through lovely pics of wild isolated pools nestled in the rocks among the verdant valleys. I was mistaken.
Dogs have been around for millennia and have developed sophisticated ways of regulating temperature by panting if hot and shivering if cold, but yeah sure you put a padded camo jacket on the poor little darling
