I was at this, filmed on a Saturday afternoon at Granada Studio’s.

Originally, it was supposed to be the Roses that were on instead of the Mondays - hence all the students in the Roses tees but they cancelled and a Bez-less Mondays turned up and were brilliant.

Bez had been arrested & detained in France on a burglary charge a few days before.

T-coy were brilliant and played 3 tracks iirc, Gerald did VooDoo Ray and the Mondays played for what seemed like forever…

A great afternoon, and most went over the Hac later and carried on.

Thanks for that
Pretty mesmerising
There’sa street drinker on portobello road with the same mannerisms

… I mean uploading your vest with an orchestra stab / crash and vocal gasp samples is an unusual (Although very eighties) choice… what’s wrong with a kalimba/conga or two

Sometimes that algorithm is quite clever, it just threw up this

Wow. Insane. The chisel vibes are STRONG.

the way it’s edited it seems like this is all going on in his mind, (got a twin peaks vibe) the huge crowd going wild, him killing it etc when really the show finished a while ago and he still hasn’t realised

I was convinced that someone had taken original footage and edited it for LOLs, especially given how much focus is on the balls hanging down

I couldnt believe he’d actually constructed a midi vest and this was legit footage…the late eighties were a wild time

I now really want to make my own, bespoke, midi jungle vest.

A full hour long video from Legends in Warrington from 3rd August 1991. Video quality is a bit crap but some nice tuneage throughout.

Some of the Man Parrish stories are amazing, a real window into NY nightlife and music from back then.

This with a tear in my eye.

My first visit to the disused MOT garage in Cheetham Hill otherwise known as the White Hotel (what a venue), and possibly the last time Andrew played out. It was certainly his last ALFOS.

Sadly he died 8 days later, as we all know.

The roller shutters opening up at 6am, the place empties onto the road as the sun rises over Strangeways prison.

A fine sight when you are absolutely wasted.

All sorts of rum stuff goes on in and around some of those buildings in that Strangeways/Cheetham Hill area :flushed:

There is indeed! Hidden was another favourite club of mine pre covid.

Loads of cracking little curry gaffs around there too if you venture deep enough.

Although it looks like gentrification will hit the area quite soon.
