Monty Don’s Adriatic Gardens. Very relaxing…I’m getting old.
Brilliant thanks for the tip
Ben Fogles New Lives In The Wild.
Well mellow tv. I started at the most recent and am working backwards. The bloke in Portugal with the ex dominatrix is pretty nuts. The two old architects just adorable and he’s got great clothes. (The old architect not Ben fogle).
Yeah I’ve been watching that, the Portugal episode was good, I was thinking for him was it a good or bad thing she took a vow of celibacy… Bullet dodged I think…
This is our secret TV addiction, can’t get enough of it, we’ve watched dozens of them in the last 18 months.
PS The architect dresses a bit like my dad (summer outfit).
This is a favourite in our house too. Only good thing on Ch5.
Belfast
A sort of semi- autobiographical account of Kenneth Branagh’s up bringing in 60’s Belfast at the start of the Troubles. Really lovely film. Charming and bittersweet, beautifully shot. Kind of feel-good despite the heavy backdrop. Recommended
Finally got round to Boiling Point.
Brilliant film making. Loved it.
loved this. thought it was good to see Olivia Colman being a bit less Olivia Colman
Totally hooked on Couples Therapy right now
(the TV show)
King Richard - really liked this last night, uplifting Sunday night vibes. The real footage after the credits showed how much of it wasn’t loosely based on the Williams sister’s story but carefully recreated.
Jumped back into Ozark last night. Can’t think of anything else I have seen recently where every series gets better than the last so am hoping season 4 lives up to the same standards. The only other actor I can think of apart from Jason Bateman that does an external expression of internal pain so well is Mark Bonnar in ‘Guilt’
Watched this last night too, nice Sunday vibe for sure.
Also watched the Dawn Wall and the Lost Daughter over the weekend, both really good. TP forum on point with the viewing tips yet again.
Zen Motoring
You Don’t Know Me on iPlayer.
Great story. Really enjoyed it. Sags a bit in the middle but stick with it.
I think After Life is one of the worst things I have attempted to watch of late, well I’m exaggerating a little, Ricky Gervais stand up is the worst. I found it repetitive, the characters are shite (the post man FFS), jokes obvious, just plain annoying. Other than that loved it.
Can’t stand Gervais and his laughing… Paul Kaye was the only reason for watching it…
I never got that far
I am quite enjoying Archive 81 on Netflix at the moment, tame horror that keeps you guessing
Watched the Youtube series I think from a recommend from here, good for him I say, great stuff.
