I think it’s one of his best. It cheered me up as it finally nailed down why i hated Thatcher so much…(at the time) which is hard to remember /justify to others decades later. Areally concise political summation which highlights how fucked we really are now (as a country), and how we got there
I watched the Tony De Vit documentary “Don’t Ever Stop” and, yes, lovely man and clearly was the man of the moment but was a bit uncomfortable with how young his partner was and, in turn, Fergie. Different times, sure.
The Jaws at 50 doc on Disney+ is a decent watch. Good retelling of a fraught production that nearly got pulled for being 3 months late and millons over budget. Interesting to see how it birthed the summer blockbuster. Robert Shaw was pissed as a fart when he delivered his famous monologue
Very late to the party but just rattled through mare of easttown and thought it was brilliant, Kate Winslet excellent. Felt a bit influenced by happy valley tbh!
