What are you watching?

Started watching it as well. Think you’ve hit the nail on the head.
Haha! : )

Feels like it’s one long montage almost… no plot. (But a nice bit of Dion on the soundtrack!)

Carmy the most annoying one - other characters are great though.

But like you, will still watch it all! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I think it’s one of his best. It cheered me up as it finally nailed down why i hated Thatcher so much…(at the time) which is hard to remember /justify to others decades later. Areally concise political summation which highlights how fucked we really are now (as a country), and how we got there

Finished Squid Game t’other day , awful ending.

Yeah agreed, probably the weakest season but still good until the last 20-30 mins

I think they jumped the shark with the baby tbh.

Finished the Bear 4 last night. Enjoyed the season overall. Wedding episode great but I didn’t believe they all fit under that table.

I can’t imagine it will be like that (as much as I’d like it to be), but it will still be ace*

I watched the Tony De Vit documentary “Don’t Ever Stop” and, yes, lovely man and clearly was the man of the moment but was a bit uncomfortable with how young his partner was and, in turn, Fergie. Different times, sure.

The Jaws at 50 doc on Disney+ is a decent watch. Good retelling of a fraught production that nearly got pulled for being 3 months late and millons over budget. Interesting to see how it birthed the summer blockbuster. Robert Shaw was pissed as a fart when he delivered his famous monologue

Never hold a party in a place called Boom! :boom: :boom::boom:

(But yes very lucky no big crowds in there at the time).

The two most notorious fires I can think of at festies are

  1. A peerless Hendrix at Monterrey ‘67. As acid-induced pyromania goes, it is spellbinding and hypnotic.

  2. The restless jocks at Woodstock ‘99 taking the entire site down. Fatboy Slim shat himself and got out fast.

Both documentaries are amazing.
