The two most notorious fires I can think of at festies are

A peerless Hendrix at Monterrey ‘67. As acid-induced pyromania goes, it is spellbinding and hypnotic.

The restless jocks at Woodstock ‘99 taking the entire site down. Fatboy Slim shat himself and got out fast.
Both documentaries are amazing.

Very late to the party but just rattled through mare of easttown and thought it was brilliant, Kate Winslet excellent. Felt a bit influenced by happy valley tbh!

Watched this last night, comedy gold in parts.
Rewatching the Red Riding Trilogy since Netflix recently added it. Has stood the test of time. Dark, complex and completely absorbing with an incredible cast.

Flew through it on Monday afternoon/evening, and absolutely loved it, though I guess I’m the right demographic having done exactly the same thing myself with mixtapes and many of the same songs. Normal People for 50-somethings.

if this is real and not AI its quite something, in the early 2000’s rather than go to an ad break a Chilean beer company inserted ads into the star wars films. i’ve had a quick check and it does appear to be real but who knows these days?

Was looking forward to this, loved Past Lives, love Dakota and Pedro, but sorry nah. We lasted about 20 minutes, felt like one of those made for TV movies you watch in bed in the afternoon with the flu.
I’ve mentioned this in Small Claims, but he was the drummer in my neighbour’s band in the 1980s
