Tried but struggled with first episode. May go back to it again.
Gets better. Drags a bit. Gets better. Could probably do with a serious edit. Enjoying it on the whole though.
Undercover
A belated thanks, will check this!
Two episodes in on this. Julia Davis is always a master at traumatising her viewers. Great so far.
HIGH (BBC iPlayer)
Documentary series about the two young girls that were caught in Peru trying to smuggle cocaine back to Ibiza.
Knew the basics of the story from when it happened, but this is an account from one of the girls. And it’s mental.
Cheers will check that out!
This sounds superb.
It’s really good. Horrific how a young, and pretty naive girl was pushed into the situation. And crazy how you could be partying in Ibiza one night, then on your way to Peru and the hands of the cartel the next.
Lol…
If the cartel was run by the Chuckle Brothers
Not entirely sure what your point is. I may well have missed it. Regardless of how competent they were, you had two young girls in a situation they should never have been anyway near. A nightmare scenario.
Started this last night on the back of the chat on here. It was completely off my radar, so nice one TP Forum again
2 in and its excruciatingly great!
Just finished ‘Sophie’ on Netflix, a 3 parter about the murder of a French woman in rural Ireland.
I remembered hearing about the story in the news back in the 90s but didn’t know anything about it really so it was all new to me.
There was one big twist towards the end of the first episode i didn’t see coming.
Still can’t believe how it ends, very frustrating & bizarre.
Just finished the This Is Pop documentary series on Netflix. Really great look at different areas of pop music and the people that made it. Episodes on the use of autotune and the one about the Brill Building were particularly good, though to be honest every episode was really interesting. Recommended.

‘Rudeboy :The Story Of Trojan Records’ on Sky Arts right now
Amy Winehouse documentary on C4 is fantastic
Oldboy on AppleTV only 99p… oldie but goldie, weird trippy Korean Gangster’ish stuff, would make good double bill a la Swiss Centre with Parasite.
Love that film. Even the Spike Lee remake was decent
Never realised there was a Spike version, stars Josh Brolin, we love Josh here.
