What are you watching?

The Friend on Amazon with Casey Affleck. Good but sad.

Watching The Death of Stalin (Netflix) for about the 10th time. A perfect comedy imo. Authoritarianism is inherently funny (obviously not in practice). Brilliant satirical writing, and so many outstanding performances.

A 10/10 for me

What’s Apple TV like? Much on or is it like Disney+ don’t see much recommended?

Went along DCA to see this last night. Another one from Ben Wheatley (Kill List, Sightseers). Proper acid trip horror with a bit of humour thrown in. A must see on the big screen rather than the wee one. Was also nice to come out and be able to sit down and have few beers in the same building. Long live indy cinema.

No idea. I found the series somewhere else

I think you can get a free 7 day trial though so worth a look.

Not much original content. Probably not worth the subscription fee at the moment, but it is growing.

Bit disappointed with season 2 of black summer. The first one was much better

Belgian/Dutch show based on a true story of 2 undercover agents sent to take down an ecstasy dealing drug lord by befriending him and his troublesome family /gang in a camping park. It’s so well done and keeps you wanting more - a real binge fest. I recommend watching “Ferry” before you start this - it’s the back story of the character of Ferry Bouman

What’s this called?

Camping was wicked, my son came back from his mates house a few weeks ago and the mum dropped him off. She was the red haired woman who ends up in a k hole :joy:

Anyone watching this? Dom on Amazon Prime. Enjoying it so far. City of God kinda vibes in flashback. Cops, politics, favela funk parties, tons of coke and lots of beautiful people.
