What are you watching?

Stumbled across this on the PBS Freeview channel.

An absolutely fascinating and pretty mindblowing documentary, which also shows that these cunts have always walked among us.

On the ‘nazis in our midst’ theme I recommend Arlington Road too. Remember the ending more than anything. Haunted me ever since. So many real life characters and events (esp in the US) have reminded me of it in recent years. It was made in 1999 at a time when, post-McVeigh/unabomber, nazis were in the news again, but who at at the time were perhaps still seen as one-off freaks on the fringe. That film seems almost prescient now…

Binged Normal People yesterday after deliberately avoiding it due to all the media event hoopla around it at the time.

Bloody hell, why didn’t someone warn me it would turn me into an absolute emotional wreck weeping on the sofa?!

Co-sign on “Carts”. Ex-Vancouverite here, great to hear local legends Bison and Black Mountain on the soundtrack. The National Film Board of Canada is a treasure trove.

Just finished re-watching season 3 of The Bear. Admittedly not as great as season 1 and 2 - that’s a pretty tall order- but not even remotely as bad as the critics, podcasters and others said.

I liked season 3 of the Bear too, especially Tina’s episode and the one in the hospital. Both were just as good as the best from the other seasons.

Season 2 finale of house of the dragon was a bit underwhelming. Hopefully the 3rd season picks up the pace. Post production has been pretty spectacular throughout shame the plot has been so painfully slow.

Watched it live in the office was pretty bloody amazing to witness

Stumbled on a show called Supacell made by a guy named Rapman. Very different take on the Superhero thing and ended well.
