I was about to send that to my son, he loves bigfoot. Until I got to :30s
Bit late on it but finished Kin today, binged it over a couple of days, couple of things i found a bit unrealistic, but overall enjoyed it and hope there’s gonna be another series.
First series was a bit cringe in parts with Eamon swaning around, second series was better and very close to things that happened in Dublin over the last few years…
Oh they already made a 2nd series?
Been watching it on Netflix and they’ve only got the first series it seems.
It wasn’t so much Eamon, it was the Kinsellas going about daily life, taking the kid out, hooking up on Grindr, whilst every gangster in Dublin is hunting them that I thought was far fetched, can they really be that constantly stupid I thought lol.
Thought Ciaran Hinds was really good as Eamon, always think he brings a weight and character to any role he plays.
That was close ![]()
You will probably binge on the second series when you get to meet Bren played by Francis Magee… ![]()
Yeah, saw Bren briefly in the prison visit scene, he’s a charmer!
They’ve filmed the third series it’s due out later this year. I enjoyed it but I know what you mean about some bits of it. The Ayahuasca bit is interesting ![]()
Been binging Tokyo Vice on iPlayer. Really enjoying it.
Stumbled across that the other night too, enjoying v late nineties feel.
Outer Range S2 is out now. Some wacky TV.
Storyville: Praying for Armageddon.
Another Storyville must watch. The US will forever astonish and baffle me.
I didn’t know what to make of it at first but when you get into it it’s very well done.
Love this. Just coming to the end of the first season.
Looks like they’ve nailed the whole aesthetic of those films. Even the poster is spot on. Can’t wait to see it!
It looks really good…
I only lasted 45 minutes with Late Night with the Devil. I knew I was going to hate it when the first 5 minutes was 30 studio indents. Awful, awful movie.
Sasquatch Sunset was fun, and sad. Rewatched An Evening with Beverley Luff Linn. Spotted Dylan from Severence. Jim Hosking is a genius, also a huge fan of The Greasey Strangler. Also watched the directors cut of The Exorcist, damn, they ruined that.
I watched it a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I thought it looked amazing. My daughter then told me that the whole design of it was done by AI and has caused ructions among hollywood designers. I haven’t looked further into that but if true the AI nailed it.
Just watched it. Really enjoyed it. A proper homage to those classic 70s supernatural horror films.
