Weekend at bernie"s just started at 6… Here’s hoping my 14yr old daughter will sit for more than 30 minutes…
I went down the “first reactions” rabbit hole on YouTube the other night and I came to the same conclusion that a lot of them are total bs. Not only have they heard of the artists featured, the reactions are often forced/faked. I get it, it’s an easy, cheap way to gain followers to a channel but there’s so many of them now, it’s becoming diluted.
I’ve got one episode left to watch of a horror series called Them on Amazon. A bit harrowing at times. There have been a couple of scenes my wife has refused to watch. I am enjoying it lots
I think we’ll start this, heard good things
I’m looking forward to The Handmaid’s Tale return, anyone heard when it’s back?
What side is that on? It’s from the James Frey book I seem to recall? Felt very let down by him after reading his ‘biography’ but I’m over that now, ready to forgive and forget. ![]()
On the evil Amazon prime
I had no idea he was involved! just googled it and apparently the original idea was his. figures, he’s good at MAKING STUFF UP
Just swapped over to Netflix this month so be back on it in May, he’s an evil genius for sure.
Series 8 of Spiral is proving to be very enjoyable.
April I think. Have you seen the trailer? Looks intense
I miss the 90s… So many memories came flooding back…![]()

This was good fun (and occasionally moving) watch yesterday with the wife
Although I am not that big a fan of Moffat’s approach toward these songs.
Watched it last night. Excellent although I wasn’t sure of the casting of Olivia Cooke. She isn’t very rock n roll with her one terrified expression. As for the eye brows.
Has anyone else watched Black Bear, the new film with Aubrey Plaza? Really excellent film about the creative process. Dark and funny and unexpected.
It’s kind of like Mulholland Drive meets a Charlie Kaufman film with a bit of Woody Allen thrown in.
This sounds ace.
We like Aubrey… she proper Balearic/House.
What sides it on? #TVTimes
New Order’s last live show at Ally Pally on Sky Arts.
You can either choose to giggle or cringe your way though Bernard’s dad dancing and high notes attempts
Amazing visuals though as ever
shaking his meringues then? …sorry…i’ll get my hat
Pains me to admit it but New Order have become their own tribute act. Peter Hook and the Light do the songs so much more justice
we’ve been putting it off for nearly a year but at the behest of some pals we started watching Pose. Three episodes in and while some of it is veering close to heavy-handed do-you-see moralising, it’s great to see a show that’s driven by minority characters and the struggles faced by them. The soundtrack is exceptional.
Watched The Sound of Metal recently, gives a real insight of what it would feel like to loose your hearing as a musician.
