It certainly reinforces the phrase “Only in New York”. It’s a warm hug all wrapped up in a TV show.

I think I have a high threshold for uncomfortable situations. I kind of gravitate towards them. It’s just kind of a rush I can’t really get anywhere else.

The bear season 2 is bloody excellent. Got a couple more episodes to go but it’s already pretty evident it deserves some accolades. I think someone mentioned on here about Cousins episode which I really loved.

Yeah it was superb.

Weirdly addictive and requiring no brain power whatsoever.

I’ve also gone back in on The Wire. Burning through season 1. Better than ever.

Tulsa King on Paramount +

Sly Stallone as a NY mobster just out of jail and gets sent to Oklahoma to set up a crime operation. Its your standard fish out of water set up but its actually better than it has any right to be. Has some of the Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire writers attached and there’s a few familiar faces from those worlds

just finished Band of Brothers - finally got around to watching.

Enjoyed this too. He seems all happy/friendly and harmless to start with but gets darker as it nears the end of the series… season 2 soon, i think?
