I rewatched in the loop a while ago. Very funny. That scene with Capaldi and Gandolfini.

Loved The Thick Of It and In The Loop one of my all time faves too. Jesse Armstrong of Succession fame wrote them didnt he, you can tell they share some of the same stylistic camera work occasionally. Shame how real life politics became more absurd than the satire.

I’m a Virgo on Amazon is one of the most bizarre things I’ve seen in a while. Watching with no previous knowledge of what it was about made it all the more surreal. Two episodes in and really enjoying it.

Was big news here but when I was only having a cursory look it seemed like a mental game show as the headlines were always Reality Winner Guilty of Treason, etc.
It also removes all high stakes, which was the obi-wan issue. You know nobody will die or in these cases ever will truly die and it all makes it a bit meh.
This sounds horrific… not sure I can stomach it.

Showed this to my daughters bf few months ago, he was off to see some UK Garage, he’d never heard of Todd, only then I realised this was 20 years old. He’d have been 6…
