What are you watching?

Watched Barbarian yesterday. A decent effort, although let down in parts by really hammy acting, ropey editing and I felt the ending, nay the whole second half in fact, was rather rushed. An enjoyable watch though and definitely has the shiver factor in places.

7/10

Making my way through Parks & Rec. loving it.

Episode 8 of The Last of Us is a doozy, after the momentum killing (but still good) Episode 7.

Arte.tv is a nice change from mainstream stream / tv services in the UK and it’s free.

If you don’t mind subtitles… (In german or french usually)

Lots of interesting short docs on there including ones about disco and moroccan hash.

Only one more to go :slightly_frowning_face:

Real comfort tv. Season 4 when they’re on the ‘Leslie Knope’ campaign trail is an absolute hoot.

Another comedy gold episode :grinning:

The new Chris Rock stand up special on Netflix, enjoyed it, really funny in places, particularly the first half and yeah he talks about ‘the slap’

Hey y’all, I miss you folks too! I am living an internet-free existence. I don’t even carry a smartphone anymore, but perhaps I will check in from time to time. I hope every one here is golden.

I’m watching this

this was very touching - the power of this novel and subsequent film no doubt resonates forevermore with many who visit this forum.

Interior Design Masters on BBC is a family institution / guilty pleasure now. First episode of the new series features a contestant who’s really into ‘the balearic look’: white walls, natural fibres, cactus, driftwood, which he tries to apply to a new build in Elephant & Castle with mixed results.
