Finished Sneaky Pete on Amazon Prime, apparently Amazon binned it after the third season, shame really… great cast, engaging performances, twisting and turning all the way…
i’d give it

Just how good is The Terror. If you haven’t watched it you should. Sailors freezing their balls off on a ship for years in the anticipation of being eaten by a murderous beast. EPIC
I watched the first episode, I need to get back to it
The Flight Attendant… Cringey Yank dialogue doesn’t cut it but the eyecandy and quickness keepsyou glued. Not worth the 5 star Guardian review.
I’m still thinking about it a week later. One of the best dramas I’ve ever seen
Watched Leave No Trace last night. Brilliant, really parred down and very moving.
We have been watching it too, s’okay, deffo not 5 stars in my book, maybe 2 pushing 3 at most. Reviewer must have the hots for Penny I guess.
Teeny claim to fame, I know one of the actors in it…confession time, I haven’t started watching it yet to my shame
Been slowly getting through it. The build up of tension is becoming unbearable
If it is the fella who played Hickey then shake his hand from me, he played the part superbly. As did the rest of the cast but there was something extra about him.
He plays John Weekes, ship’s carpenter. A smaller role to be fair.
There’s a new Storyville on iplayer. The Mole Agent, not the Korean one but a Chilean OAP going undercover in a rest home. Extraordinary. Oscar material apparently and deservedly so. The guy is a modern day Saint.

a documentary about the dancers at Defected’s clubnight Glitterbox. The first five minutes feel like a generic “our club is great” hagiography but then it becomes about their individual stories and it’s actual quite powerful, talking about club culture as a a space of individual expression and collective unity
Point Break is starting at 23:00
haven’t seen it in a while
It’s not new but I’m Enjoying Big Little Lies at the moment on Prime Video. Brilliant cast and the introduction of Meryl Streep as the mother-in-law in season 2 is genius
Bugger way past my bedtime!
Just heard that Bez is going on Masterchef. Will definitely be tuning into that.
Soundbreaking on Sky Arts right now, all about sampling this week
Creation Stories
I like this iMDB review: “Does for Creation Records what ‘Cats’ did for cats”
Watched ‘The Detectives: Fighting Organised Crime’ last night on iplayer. Focused on a gang from Madchester who kidnapped & tortured targeted people to try & get ransom money out of them. In conclusion, there are some nasty bastards out there!!! Good watch.
