What are you watching?

I was the same when I first watched it and enjoyed it more this time… Do rewatch it before letting your 14yr old

Have you watched Hereditary also? Equally mental!

Yeah, I did find the ending of that one a bit ridiculous.
I recommend Saint Maud if you’ve not seen it.

I watched Saint Maud on my own in a near empty cinema and it got to me. Love that it did, that’s the thrill of a good horror. That ending….

My favourite horror since Blair Witch. None of the usual cliche stuff, just gradually raising the tension, and the ending :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Superb acting too.

Took my 4yo to the cinema for the first time ever the other day to see Lyle Lyle Crocodile.
Went better than i feared, she didn’t get too bored & only 2 toilet trips plus she loved the song & dance & chase scenes.

The cinema was great for catching up on sleep when the kids were younger. I even managed to snooze through a couple of the Transformer films

I was tempted, very comfy recliner seats, once I got on it I didn’t wanna get off it lol

Some of my best snoozing happened in front of the big screen.

I rarely watch TV or movies, but I just finished Stranger Things and it’s the best show I can recall watching since time immemorial. Rarely do good, acting, good directing, an interesting plot and dialogue come together in combination to create a show that for someone who doesn’t typically watch TV shows to come away so thoroughly impressed…I want to set up a home theater for movie night and I’m looking for some recommendations for recliner
seating. There are so many brands and price points that it’s difficult to make a decision without kicking the tires and looking under the hood at everything that’s out there.

There’s only one worth having in my book, slightly ‘spendy’ at £9k :grinning: (obvs don’t have one but you can dream right)
